What the manpower stage involves
Before a worker can fly on a work visa from Bangladesh, the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) has to clear them. In practice that means finger and training, submission of the file, clearance and the BMET smart card.
For the agency it also means cost: the manpower is often done through another licensed agency or vendor, and that cost has to land on the right file.
